
Dean Donnelly, 79, died August 12, 2012 at his home in Rexburg, Idaho.
He was born July 22, 1933 in Wendell, Idaho to Cecil and Louise
Donnelly. He was raised in Jerome, Idaho where he graduated from High
School. He enlisted in the Army and later attended the University of
Idaho in Moscow. He worked as a Fire Fighter for the I.N.E.L. for 23
years. At the time of his retirement in 1988, he was an Assistant Fire
Chief. He also worked as an appliance repairman for Bingham & Sons
in Rexburg for over 30 years.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, playing cards and working in his yard. He
loved and enjoyed his grandchildren; and he will be deeply missed by his
family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Linda; his children & spouses, Tammy
(Kyle) Christensen, of Boise, Idaho, Tracy (Doug) Jacobson, Bill
(Angela) Donnelly both of Rexburg, and Terry (Kelly) Fayle of Chubbuck,
Idaho, 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is also survived
by two sisters, Carol Jardine and Joyce Lowman and a brother, Dennis
Donnelly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Vicky, and a grandson Cody Jacobson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 15 at
the Lyman 1st Ward Chapel, 1952 West 6000 South, in Rexburg. The family
will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Flamm
Funeral Home in Rexburg and Wednesday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the
church prior to services. Interment will be in the Sutton Cemetery.
